Cisco few questions please help?hijack this

1. since it is locking up it is hogging too much resources, usually memory, so upgrade the ram. reinstall the OS if you are getting errors or blue screens of death. defragment if your computer is getting slow (doesnt lock up tho), or you start getting file write errors.

2. the 2 in the middle. the hard drive light lights up whenever it is accessed. defragmenting often usually means you must be using the hard drive to copy and then delete big files like isos often. it doesnt mean your hardware is failing. mechanical noises mean the hardware is going kaput. along with increasing bad sectors of course.
