What do i do?

OK ... so i went on this website earlier today, and as soon as i tried to open something on it, my PC shut down, so i restarted it ... and now i keep getting these security warning messages up saying my windows registry is corrupted. I've cleaned up my C drive and defragged the PC .... i've deleted my cookies... bought new anti virus software... deleted spyware and i don't know what else to do, i really don't want to have to reinstall windows, please help, what can i do?
