My computer makes an annoying water drop sound when i open web pages. How can I get this to stop.?

It is not my norton anti-virus software that is doing this. It is pretty annoying if i am trying to play music and I constantly hear this sound every time i visit a new web page. Any assistance is appreciated.

Go to control panel

Open sounds and audio devices

Click sounds tab

Under program events

click Information bar or Navigation ( which makes that sound )

In sounds drop down list, choose none

Then apply, ok

EDIT: Then you must try Navigation which makes the tick sound.

go into control panel and you will find the setting for changing the sounds for every action
