Computer is a windows xp.
It has 3 drives
2 of them have 37.2gb.
1 is not formatted.
It will not start up in safe mode anymore.
It had a new hard drive installed about 6 months ago.
It is freezing up.
Spyware or other anti virus software works sometimes and others it freezes.
What are your initial thoughts?

Maybe your motherboard has static. If you have cats or dogs that is most likely it.
