so, i recently changed my anti-virus software..i don't know what happened, everything was going smoothly when suddenly no audio could be heard from my head phones...i tried playing some songs but it won't play, windows media, winamp, jet audio, nothing! and my task bar disappeared (i'm quite stupid with computers aren't i?) well, i managed to put it back but it only shows when i'm on desktop..when i open other pages it doesn't show, i tried the view button but there's nothing in there about taskbars...and the audio thing, i can't work without listening to anything..help please...

Try right clicking on your taskbar, then click 'properties' on the pop-up menu. Then make sure the 'keep the taskbar on top of other windows' box is checked.
You might want to check the 'lock the taskbar' box also.
As far as your sound goes-you might want to check the settings in your control panel, and your new virus software-especially if it has a firewall...
