There MUST be a virus or malware out there that targets and disrupts Yahoo...anyone know anything?

Around 2 wks ago, I began having problems with accessing Yahoo. Yahoo booted me as it had countless times before,but each time I tried to get back in, it would almost fully let me back in....%26 then boot me. Yahoo's web version works fine.

My desktop YIM on my laptop also works fine--so it's something specific in my computer.

I have uninstalled and re-installed Yahoo countless times. I've run spyware and anti-virus scans from: Zone Alarms Security Suite, PrevX, Spybot, Ad Aware, Spy Sweeper (paid version), Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Detector, and various other online scanners. Any infections found and removed by these programs did NOT resolve Yahoo.

I added an additional memory card to my puter. Cleaned out cookies and cache in both IE and Firefox. All to no avail.

Have read boards and blogs and learned that others are experiencing similar probs, but no one seems to know of any virus, which this MUST be. Anyone have ANY ideas on what I can do????

yahoo is adding many new options and its a mess.. but there is a solution .. have you ever heard of 3rd party chat clients ? ... these chat programs are written by actual chat user ... mostly from Yahoo Chat Help:1 ... no ad banners / free / boot proof and loaded with options these free chats are more stable then messenger and rock ... currently Yazak chat has a special login feature to help you enter chat ... uncheck the anti bounce feature and click join room fast on it's change room page and you should enter chat quickly ... get it @ http://www.freecreed.com .... listed under yahoo pages / free boot proof chat on the menu bar
