A virus that plays rap music?

i think i just recently got a virus on my comp, it randomly plays rap or rock music, but no software is running on my comp. does anyone know what virus this is.. my anti-virus finds it and says it deletes it , but it still winds up playing the music and i cant find this virus with these symptoms on any site.

I had this happen to me just a few years ago.

I would randomly hear people talking through my speakers, and I had, at that time, thought there was a virus of some sort messing with me.

After some time though, I moved my speakers and it ceased.

Know what it was?

My speakers were picking up a local AM station.

I'd suggest trying to move your speakers to another location and attempting to test it. Or, you could just unplug the jack from the back (or front) or your computer and see if you still hear it.
i will ask somebody for you now, and its definately showin up as a virus with your av softwrae scans? hang tight a few mins...ok, here is what some has just told me, a member of the Majorgeeks.com forum ..."are you sure your not streaming audio from the internet? or maybe the app is just minimized in the tray? run windows personal care v2 or something similar, it has a start up manager where u can see what loads up at start up. some malware can reinstall itself from the start menu every time you re-boot. did you do all the spyware malware adware scans in safe mode?"
