How do u boot your system (windows xp)?

Hey i'm trying to download windows xp service pack 2 and i went on to this website and it gave me the following steps :

Close Windows Movie Maker 2.1

Run adware/spyware and anti-virus softwares

Defrag your computer

Log out and shut down your computer

unplug computer and wait for 30 minutes

Plug computer back in

boot your system. %26lt;----------------- ***** how do i do this??? anyone know??

PLEASE GIVE ME CLEAR STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS. (I've never boot my computer...i have absolute no idea, so please explain CLEARLY) thanks!

boot simply means to turn on the PC....but the instructions are totally stupid.

you NEVER have to unplug your PC,etc for 30 mins for anything (well other than to throw it in the garbage or out a window)

to install SP2 just use Windows Update and it will download and install the service pack for you. (it will reboot the PC (power off %26 on without intervention)).
