We have win anti virus pro software on our computer, and my boyfriends dad accidentally deleted our limewire programme we had downloaded after doing a virus scan, it will now not let us re download limewire. Is there a way to temporarily disaple anti virus whilst i download limewire then reactivate it at no cost

could be the limewire site, giving problems. but normally you can right click software a/v icon and choose exit. dont recommend it.heard bit torrent is safer, through the opera broswer.

Welll, we have Norton AV which has a little icon that shows up in the task bar (botton right, in blue strip, those are all the programs that start up with the computer). We can right click on the icon and temporarily turn off the program; then right click to turn it back on. Maybe that will work for you.
