Whats up with this so call Trojan virus?

the other day after downloading a file i kept getting this message that my system was infected with the latest version of trojan and to download some spyware software. when i bite it took me to a site that asked me to purchase the program. so i cancelled and ran all the lasted anti-virual software and no virus was found. this message keeps coming up and disrupting anything i do on my computer, sometimes the message comes in layers like solitare, very annoyinging. what i do to get rid of it?

You don't have a virus you have a trojan (spyware). Download and run Spybot S%26D and also download and run Ad-Aware 2007.



Those should be able to detect and delete all the junk. Make sure you update them first.

Is that scam advertising trying to sell you, one (or more) of these useless products? Don't buy anything that it is advertising It's a scam! If it is one of these, then it is likely an infection called Smitfraud that is causing the phony warnings. It is scam advertising trying to swindle you.
